Remembering

Three years ago in a hot room in Changsha we had a little girl put in our arms.
I remember holding out my arms and the tiny light little girl was put in them, she did fuss until her daddy took her and unless you tried to make direct eye contact she was daddies girl from then on.
(and still is today).

Today we have a little spitfire who we love to death. She is gettng taller but remains a little peanut and is very strong willed, a will you could see when she came to us. The smallest of the group but also one of the strongest. She knew what she wanted then and continues to today.

Today we gave her her Penguin webkins which she has wanted for awhile. She has not let him out of her site, she named him BABY.

We LOVE her and would do it all again to bring her to our family.

Eleven years today. Happy Anniversary Jason.

The anniversary gift is coming. Actually it is a Fathers Day, Anniversary, Christmas Gift all rolled into one....will post pictures when it arrives.....

WE WILL NEVER FORET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today at McKenna's school they sang "I am proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood. I have always loved that song and McKenna has known it since she was three.

We want to thank our brave men and women who have served, those you have given their lives and the ultimate sacrifice of to many of them. The sacrifice for those left behind.

We pray daily for our own family who serve.

We also thank our President for being willing to make the tough choices and for standing firm in his convictions, even when others tear him down. Until anyone walks in his shoes they will never know what he faces and we thank him for protecting our nation.

We pray that God will continue to protect our armed forces, continue to protect our nation, continue to protect our leaders and that this year the elected official will continue to believe in God and our nation as the strong leader it continues to be even when our own media makes you think otherwise.

Welcome to the NEW look done by Tina from THE STORY OF YOU. I have LOVED her website hosting for a long time and so when it was time for a new look we decided to take the plunge and have her redo it. I have been wanting to do this for a very long time. So hopefully everyone enjoys the new look.
