Daddy is almost here

We have two excited girls.

On a sad note please say some prayers for a family here in the US. They just lost Anna their daughter from China of ten weeks after a heart procedure that did not go well. Anna is now up in Heaven dancing with Maria Chapman and all the other angels who have been called home way to early for us left here on the Earth.

The Girls are in COUNTDOWN Mode

Man alive you would think daddy was gone for business every week instead of two weeks spread throughout the year.

At least this year Marielle did not again break out in cold sores from Missing her daddy.

We love you dad.

UPdate

Well the new earlier bus time really tires the kids out.

They do like school.

TOmorrow starts McKennas choral group and SUMMER 2009 she may get to travel with them to Hawaii, we will see what happens.

In the coming weeks look forward to a new look to the blog.

School started TODAY

McKenna was so excited she got her second choice of a teacher but is excited because this teacher LOVES having the kids read novels and instead of homework packets she gives monthly PROJECTS to complete. McKenna is in heaven, she LOVES projects LOVES them.

We also just found out she may get to go to Hawaii next summer with her singing group. A big maybe cause of her school year (age she is fine but with cut off she is not in the right GRADE) so we will find out if the petition goes through and she gets to go soon.

Anyway I will attempt to post pictures from the school fashion show today.

The Girls are HOME

Today we are going swimming and hope to have alot of fun. We did a fashion show of some school clothes for grandpa and grandma so check back later for some updated pictures. You will probably see alot of them repeated as mommy goes overboard every day for school.

The Girls Will BE HOME IN AN HOUR !!!!!

We are so excited the girls will be home in an hour. This weekend we worked hard, cleaned the upstairs, and daddy put up both sets of drapes on the BIG windows and we were able to hang more pictures. YEAH.


Also our friends received a referral for a baby boy from Vietnam. We have been praying that this would come prior to September 1 so they would be able to get a referral since Viet Nam is closing to Americans again after that date.
Can't wait to see a picture (after they come home) and here his name. They have the cutest little girl Annslee and Marielle insists they are sisters. (Marielle and Annslee do not come from the same area of China).

The girls are coming home Saturday !!!!!!!

Yeah, we are so excited. I will be getting the house ready Saturday. I meant to today but slept in, I did not wake up until 11 am. It has been years since I slept in that late.

My parents are coming to visit for a few days. It will be good to see them, I really really wish we lived closer.


I will be 40 on August 15. I remember growing up how OLD 40 seemed and yet now I realize how YOUNG it really is.

Now to just convince my DH to grant me one more wish.

Sometimes things happen in life which make you realized what the important things are.

Sometimes I wonder if what I am feeling be led to is really what I am feeling. Have been praying for answers to a specific thing and am wondering what and if the answers I am feeling are truly what path we are to take.

Today I signed up McKenna for her soccer team, she hasn't played since Kindergarten and wanted to try again, so we will see what she thinks of soccer. Marielle we will start in a dance class or gymnastics after christmas and McKenna will move on to basketball.

I also order books to start teaching McKenna piano. I always stay busy.

Still missing the girls

Missing the girls, so they called to do night shift so i said ok. Now I think WHY did I say yes. LOL. Keep thinking money money money in the adoption account.


I am looking forward also because I realize that I don't have any pictures to post LOL

Took my test, BOY, I am sure I will have to retake it. It has been so long since I have had to do tests that I am not really sure how I did. I just hoped I squeaked by.

Received my book in the mail for the next class and so Thursday I will start studying for the next paper I have to do.

8/8/2008 Olympics are Here

Yeah I love the olympics and can't wait to see them and see things about China. Work will be long and hard as all the women due in the next two weeks want their babies born on 8/8/2008 so lots of scheduled c/s and inductions.

Next weeks is my birthday and I will be 29 YES AGAIN. I am winning the great weight loss bet that me and Jason have. YES I GET TO PICK WHAT I WANT. I am going to win this and can't wait to win.

Next week I have a big test coming up so hopefully I can pass.

I have a few pictures of Marielle with curls in her hair that I will post tomorrow after work.

The girls are having ALOT of fun at grandmas and seeing their cousins. I can't believe summer is almost over and another school year is to begin. We will start soccer in the fall and UCC the choral group. No more late night video parties. But we are soooo glad the school is not year rouud.

Anyone want to drop hints about christmas presents be my guest.
